Nourishing Hand and Foot Balm: beeswax, lavender, rosewood, and palmarosa
Dry hands, cracked heels, tight skin. A Quebec artisanal balm rich in natural active ingredients that quickly repairs and provides lasting protection.
Some skin needs more than just a simple moisturizer. Hands damaged by cold, work, or repeated washing. Cracked heels that itch and feel tight. Facial skin exposed to the harshness of the northern climate. For all these issues, this balm was created.
Handmade in Quebec by Mélia, this nourishing and restorative hand and foot care product concentrates a selection of high-quality natural active ingredients, chosen for their complementarity and effectiveness.
Beeswax creates a protective film-forming effect that forms a natural shield between the skin and external aggressors: cold, wind, water, and repeated friction. Cocoa butter and calendula oil macerate in olive oil deeply nourish and help soothe irritation and itching. Jojoba, apricot, avocado, argan, and castor oils each provide their specific fatty acids to soften, regenerate, and strengthen the skin barrier. Honey and glycerin retain moisture. Propolis and grapefruit seed extract protect and purify.
Its floral and relaxing scent, composed of lavender, rosewood, and palmarosa essential oils, transforms each application into a true moment of sensory care.
Tip: for outdoor enthusiasts in a northern climate, apply a thin layer to the face before going out to protect yourself from the cold and wind.

Frequently asked questions: Mélia Hand and Foot Balm
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Can this balm be used on the face? | Yes. Its formula rich in protective beeswax makes it a valuable ally for outdoor enthusiasts in northern climates. Apply a thin layer to the face before going out in cold or windy weather to form a natural shield against the elements. |
| What is the role of beeswax in this balm? | Beeswax creates a natural film-forming effect on the skin's surface, forming a protective film that limits water loss and protects against external aggressors such as cold, wind, and repeated friction. Unlike a cream, it does not penetrate but protects from the outside. |
| Is this balm suitable for very cracked heels? | Yes. Its formula concentrated in repairing active ingredients (cocoa butter, calendula macerate, noble vegetable oils, honey, and propolis) is particularly effective on cracked heels. For intensive action, apply generously in the evening and cover with socks overnight. |
| Does this balm contain animal products? | Yes. This balm contains beeswax and honey, two ingredients from the Miels d'Anicet farm. It is therefore not vegan, but these ingredients are harvested with respect for bees and according to Mélia's artisanal values. |
| What is the olfactory profile of this balm? | Its fragrance is floral and relaxing, composed of lavender, rosewood, and palmarosa essential oils. These three oils form a soft, slightly floral, and deeply soothing accord, pleasant to smell with each application. |
| Is this balm made in Quebec? | Yes. This balm is handmade in Quebec by Mélia, in the artisanal workshop on Rang 2 Gravel in the Hautes-Laurentides, with carefully selected and high-quality raw materials. |
