Job Title: Warehouse/Shipping Clerk

As part of Summer Job Canada, Eco Loco is looking for a student to fill an 8-week position as a warehouse clerk.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Restructure and fully equip the warehouse
• Take inventory of products and raw materials
• Prepare orders for retail sales
• Prepare orders for retailers
• Help prepare materials for seamstresses
• Prepare products ready for sale
• Update inventory on website
• Participate in ideation and visuals for social networks and website
• Update inventory on website.
• Maintain workspaces.
• Optimal layout of workspaces
• Any other related tasks requested by management

Skills and qualities required

• No experience required
• Driver's license an asset.
• Basic computer skills.
• Fluency in French
• Level of education: DES or higher
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Initiative, autonomy, versatility, practicality and resourcefulness.

Eligibility criteria

• Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the work experience
• Legally entitled to work in Canada: Canadian citizen, permanent resident or refugee status granted in Canada
• Be a student and intend to return to school in August/September

Other requirements

Schedule: 35 hours per week, generally daytime, but may be evening, weekday or weekend. Mainly according to your choice.

Salary: Minimum wage in accordance with current legislation.

Location: North Shore of Montreal

Start date: The 8 weeks must be between April 21 and August 30. The employee must be available no later than July 1, 2025.
